Privacy
What we record, and what we do not.
Short, because there is not much of it. This page describes the whole of it — there is no second system behind it.
Visits
We count page views ourselves rather than handing the job to an analytics vendor. For each view we store the path, the host of the referring site, the country your request arrived from, a coarse device / browser / operating-system label, and how long the page stayed open.
We do not set a cookie, and we do not store your IP address. To tell one visitor from another within a single day we keep a one-way hash of your IP salted with that day's date; the next day the same visitor hashes to something different, so the value cannot be used to follow anyone over time or joined to anything else. There is no advertising network involved, and nothing is shared with a third party.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we skip the whole thing.
The contact form
What you type is what we keep: your name, email, and — if you fill them in — company, project type and budget, along with the message itself. We also record which page you sent it from, the referring site, any campaign parameters in the link you followed, and your country, so we know where enquiries come from.
It is stored in our own database and emailed to us. It is not sold, not used to train anything, and not passed to anyone else. Cloudflare Turnstile may run a bot check on submission; it does not profile you or track you across sites.
How long
Enquiries are kept while they are useful and deleted on request. Visit records are aggregate counts a few fields wide, and are not tied to a person.
Where it lives
This site is served from Cloudflare's network; the database is a Cloudflare D1 instance in Amsterdam. Email notifications leave through a transactional email provider.
