The studio

Small on purpose.

Polify is the name on the invoices, the apps and the infrastructure. Behind it is a working engineer — which means the person who scopes your project is the person who writes it.

How it runs

Four stages, and you own all of them.

  1. 1.0

    Read the problem

A call, then a written scope. If the honest answer is that you do not need what you asked for, that is in the scope too.

  2. 2.0

    Ship something small

The first deployable slice goes out early — a real environment, a real URL, a real deploy pipeline. Everything after that is addition, not integration.

  3. 3.0

    Build in the open

Your repository, your cloud accounts, your data. Push-to-deploy from day one, so there is never a handover event to be afraid of.

  4. 4.0

    Leave it runnable

Documentation written for the next engineer, not for the invoice. If you want to take it in-house, nothing about the setup should stop you.

What we hold to

The unglamorous half.

Your accounts, your repositories

Everything is built in infrastructure you own from the first commit. There is no handover event to be afraid of, because there is nothing to hand over.

Deploys on a push, from day one

The pipeline goes in before the features do. A project that cannot deploy on a Tuesday afternoon is not finished, whatever the feature list says.

We will tell you when to stop

If the honest answer is that you do not need what you asked for, that is in the scope document. It is cheaper for both of us than finding out in month three.

Documentation for the next engineer

Written so someone else can pick it up — including you, in-house. Nothing about the setup should make leaving difficult.

Tell us what needs building.

A paragraph is plenty. Written to at hello@polify.me, and read.
